Shafeeq Appointed MPL CEO

Hussain Shafeeq has been appointed Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of MPL.

The Privatisation and Corporatisation Board announced the appointment, effective April 22, 2026. Shafeeq takes over the role following the resignation of Mohamed Rishwan earlier this month.

Authorities said the appointment comes as part of ongoing leadership changes in state-owned enterprises.
