President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has pledged to fast track all development projects in ADh. Kun’burudhoo, ensuring they continue without delay and finish on schedule.
The President made the pledge during a meeting at Kun’burudhoo School with council members, local leaders, and residents. The meeting was part of his ongoing tour of South Ari Atoll.
The government signed agreements with Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) at the event to carry out three key projects, including land reclamation, harbour development, and a new school building.
President Muizzu said these projects will drive significant progress for Kun’burudhoo. He assured that each project will be carried out under strict monitoring to ensure quality and timely completion.
He confirmed that reclamation and harbour work will begin in November and added that a housing project will launch next year, even before the reclamation is finished.
Ministers and heads of state owned companies joined the meeting and shared updates on ongoing government projects in the atoll.
