Two Public Holidays Declared

The government has declared Sunday and Monday as public holidays following the elections.

The decision was made due to the large number of civil servants and government employees involved in election-related work. The President’s Office has said the move follows requests by the Elections Commission to facilitate the process.

Authorities have said the holidays will allow officials to complete post-election duties.
