Eagle Hills has unveiled architectural designs for its planned housing development in Hulhumalé Phase 3, showcasing residential towers, waterfront homes and public facilities.
The designs were shared by Housing Minister Dr Abdulla Muththalib on social media and feature a mix of high-rise apartments and waterfront townhouses, alongside parks, sports facilities, cafés, restaurants, retail outlets and a large mosque.
The USD 500 million project will deliver 5,000 housing units, with construction scheduled to begin in early 2027.
The development is part of Eagle Hills’ wider investment plans in the Maldives, which also include the proposed USD 20 billion Ras Malé waterfront and marina project.
The company’s chairman, Mohamed Alabbar, has said Eagle Hills will initially finance the housing development itself, recovering the investment gradually as the wider project progresses.
The newly released designs offer a first look at how the development could transform Hulhumalé Phase 3, although construction is not expected to begin until next year.
