MWSC Deputy MD Dismissed

MWSC has dismissed its Deputy Managing Director Ibrahim Shahid following a board decision.

The decision was made at a board meeting held tonight. The reasons for the dismissal have not been disclosed.

Deputy Managing Directors of state-owned enterprises are appointed and removed by their respective boards. Shahid is the only Deputy MD dismissed so far.

The move comes amid broader changes in state-owned enterprises following recent election results. Several Managing Directors were also removed or resigned on the same day.
