Bodu Thakurufaanu Magu Lagoon to Close

The lagoon between Fishermen’s Park and BML City has been scheduled for closure under the Bodu Thakurufaanu Magu project.

MTCC has said the closure is required for sheet piling works in Phase 1, Segment 2 of the Bodu Thakurufaanu Magu development.

The road and adjacent lagoon area will be closed from tomorrow until July 4. Authorities have urged boat and speedboat owners to clear the area.

MTCC has said the project is being carried out in phases to ease traffic congestion in Malé City.
