Turkish Airlines has increased flight operations to the Maldives during the summer period.
The airline will run additional services between Istanbul and Malé from October 13 to 20, raising weekly flights from four to six.
Flights will depart Istanbul in the evening and arrive in Malé the following morning, with return services operating the same day.
Officials said the expanded schedule will improve connectivity for travellers from Europe and North America. The route also provides an alternative transit option amid regional airspace disruptions.
Industry stakeholders said the move is expected to support tourism and business travel.
