Naifaru Project Near Completion

The Naifaru land reclamation project has reached 95 percent completion, MTCC has said.

MTCC said most of the reclamation work is now complete, with materials for coastal protection already delivered to the island.

Deputy Managing Director Mohamed Jamsheed inspected the progress of the project during a recent visit. The development also includes beach protection measures, with works advancing ahead of schedule.

Officials said the project aims to address housing challenges as the island’s population continues to grow.
