President’s Office denies claims of withholding  asset declaration

The President’s Office has rejected a report by Adhadhu alleging that it refused to disclose President Dr Mohamed Muizzu’s financial statements, describing the claim as false and baseless.

Chief Government Spokesperson Mohamed Shareef, known as Mundhu, said the President’s asset declaration is publicly available for download in PDF format on the official President’s Office website.

Shareef said the declaration had already been published online and accused the newspaper of circulating false information targeting the President and government for political purposes.

He added that the government would continue to clarify misinformation and provide the public with accurate information.
