The government has established Government Service Centres across 18 atolls to make government services more accessible outside Malé.
The centres will operate under the Ministry of Homeland Security, Labor and Technology, bringing services from different government institutions together in one place.
The centres have been established in:
- Haa Alif
- Haa Dhaalu
- Baa
- Noonu
- Raa
- Lhaviyani
- Kaafu
- Alif Alif
- Alif Dhaalu
- Vaavu
- Meemu
- Faafu
- Dhaalu
- Thaa
- Laamu
- Gaafu Alif
- Gaafu Dhaalu
- Gnaviyani
The aim is to make government services easier and more convenient for people living in the atolls.
