Asphalt Works Completed on Segment Two of Ameenee Magu

The Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has completed asphalt works on Segment Two of Ameenee Magu, marking further progress on efforts to improve road infrastructure and connectivity in Malé City.

MTCC announced the completion of the asphalt works in a post, stating that the upgraded road infrastructure will provide smoother and more convenient travel for residents while contributing to a better-connected and more accessible capital.

The completion of the asphalt layer represents a key stage in the ongoing development of Ameenee Magu, one of the major roads connecting different parts of Malé. Improvements to the road are expected to enhance traffic movement and make daily travel more convenient for motorists and other road users.

The project forms part of broader efforts to upgrade Malé City’s road network and improve urban mobility as the capital continues to face increasing demand on its limited road infrastructure.
