The 2026 Four Seasons Maldives Surfing Champions Trophy kicks off today at Sultans in North Malé Atoll, bringing six renowned surfers to the Maldives for a week of competition. This year’s lineup includes Mason Ho, Caio Ibelli, Bede Durbidge, Felicity Palmateer and Travis Logie, alongside Maldivian surfer Ahmed Hishaam, who will represent the Maldives on home waves. From September 4 to 11, the surfers will compete across single-fin, twin-fin and thruster divisions, testing their skills on three different styles of boards. And with a Maldivian in the lineup, there’s plenty for us to cheer for.
