he government has declared November 2nd a public holiday, extending the Victory Day break for all employees.
The President’s Office announced the decision today, stating that President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu approved the additional day to allow citizens a continuous break.
Victory Day, observed on November 3rd, is already a national holiday. With this new declaration, Maldivians will now enjoy a four day holiday from October 31st to November 3rd.
The move aims to promote rest, family time, and national celebration during the Victory Day period.
