Mubah Wins Fiyori Council

Abdulla Mubah has been elected President of the Fiyori Council in the local elections.

Mubah secured 468 votes, defeating incumbent Faizer Rasheed, who received 400 votes. In the WDC election, PNC candidate Mariyam Shifana has been elected as chair with 529 votes.

Nationwide, 214,898 people voted in the elections out of 253,714 eligible voters, according to the Elections Commission.
