Aasandha has expanded its services by opening new counters in eight islands and cities across the Maldives, making it easier for residents to access medical welfare assistance and other scheme-related services without travelling to Malé or other service centers.
To bring Aasandha scheme services closer to the public, the company has established new service counters in eight islands across the Maldives. These counters, staffed directly by Aasandha personnel, will ensure that residents can access essential services within their own regions.
The newly established Aasandha counters are located in:
- • R. Ungoofaaru
• B. Eydhafushi
• Lh. Naifaru
• ADh. Mahibadhoo
• Dh. Kudahuvadhoo
• L. Gan
• Thinadhoo City
• Fuvahmulah City
Previously, Aasandha service counters were limited to Male’, Hulhumale’, F. Nilandhoo, Addu City, and Kulhudhuffushi City.
According to Aasandha, the addition of these counters will significantly streamline the process of applying for medical welfare assistance and handling other administrative inquiries. This expansion ensures that citizens can now access information and support regarding Aasandha services more efficiently, without the need to travel away from their home islands.
This initiative is a key part of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu’s administration’s commitment to making healthcare services more accessible and convenient for all citizens. The project is being carried out under the direct guidance of the President.
Aasandha further stated that as part of this ongoing effort, the company plans to establish service counters in all designated urban centers across every atoll in the future.
