President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has said that building a generation rooted in Islamic faith and loyal to the nation remains one of the administration’s most important priorities.
In his message marking the Hijri New Year, President Muizzu said the government will continue to prioritise raising a generation that values Islam, good conduct and national identity.
He described the Maldives’ 100 percent Islamic unity as one of the country’s greatest strengths and reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to safeguarding Islamic principles, independence and sovereignty.
The President urged the public to draw lessons from the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his companions, avoid negative behaviour and embrace acts of goodness.
He also called on Maldivians to continue praying for Muslims suffering in Palestine and encouraged the public to work together to strengthen the country’s economy and social fabric.
