Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has announced significant changes to the Raajje Transport Link (RTL) bus routes in Male' City, effective from August 3rd. These adjustments coincide with the commencement of a new phase of the Ameenee Magu redevelopment project.
According to MTCC, the modifications will impact several bus routes operating within the city. The key changes are as follows:
- Routes R1, R3, R7, and R15: The final bus stop for these routes within Male' will now be the Maafannu Bus Terminal.
Route R10 (Orchid Route): The starting and ending points for this route have been relocated to the West Park bus stop. Due to the ongoing roadwork, service to the Dharumavantha Hospital, Social Centre, and IGMH bus stops will be temporarily suspended.
Route R11 (Ameenee Route): Services on this route will be entirely suspended on a temporary basis starting from August 3rd.
