Ministry of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development has extended the application deadline for the Engineers Award, an initiative established to recognize the contributions, achievements and dedication of engineers and professionals in the engineering sector.
According to the Ministry, the deadline has been extended to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2026.
The award will be presented across 10 categories this year: Engineer of the Year, Lifetime Achievement Award, Young Engineer Award, Women in Engineering Award, Engineering Innovation, Technology, Education and Research Award, Sustainability Champion Award, Engineering Consultant/Consultancy Firm of the Year Award, Student Innovator Award, Community Impact Award, and Contractor of the Year Award.
Nominations are open to individuals who meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the Regulations for Granting the Engineers Award, published in the Government Gazette.
The Ministry said the online application portal, along with the required documents and declarations, is available through the official Engineers Award portal at the Ministry of Construction and Infrastructure.
Interested applicants are encouraged to submit their nominations before the extended deadline.
